Larger, intact pieces of Elite Shungite are exceptionally rare. Due to its brittle nature, they can only be extracted by hand making each piece the result of a slow, careful process.

Elite (Noble) Shungite is found in less than 1% of deposits and contains up to 98% organic carbon, with the highest concentration of fullerenes, unique carbon molecules studied for their antioxidant properties.

Each stone is one of a kind, with natural variations and occasional mineral inclusions (pyrite or iron oxide) that add to its character.
