On the 7th day of the Cushion Crawl, we meet on the roof of the Citadel, a massive building housing a food court, theater, offices, and retail business to meditate with Christina, a Modern ŌM Founding teacher. It’s also our 2nd year participating in My Miami Story, an initiative by the Miami Foundation that encourages us to talk about HOW we got to Miami.

Christina Pearce is a Guided Meditation Expert, Mindset Coach, and Public Speaker who is passionate about sharing holistic wellness practices that keep life vibrant, healthy and productive. A renowned meditation instructor, Christina has presented to over 40 businesses, schools and nonprofits, on mindfulness and creating wellness culture in the workplace. In 2015, she achieved tenure as Professor in Yoga studies at Pratt Institute in New York City and has since been recognized as a leader in the mindfulness movement in Miami. Christina is also a founding teacher at Modern ŌM, and her clients range from BET Networks, to Capital One Bank, to the Edition Hotel. She currently serves as the Wellness Director at The Center for Social Change where she supports staff, community leaders and programs in underserved communities.
