Sylvia Benito works in the investment management industry, investing over $1 billion in assets. She is also trained as a healer and facilitator of shamanic practices. Since she was a teenager, she has been doggedly devoted to awakening as the single most important purpose of life, but also understood that awakening can include our humanity, in all its imperfection and mess.
Awakening, in her experience, doesn’t seem to be a process of separating ourselves from the shadow elements of money, sex, and power - but rather a process of embodiment and embracing.
Her work is to straddle seemingly polar opposite energies - such as money and awakening, or power and awakening - and cobble them together in fresh narratives of enlightenment using tantrically inspired techniques.
Her upcoming book, ‘Permission’ is a bareback narrative of spiritual awakening through the eyes of the feminine, and touches deeply on the themes that will be discussed in our panel today.
Imagine groups all over Miami meeting regularly to go inward, together, focused on the same chakra-inspired themes and harnessing the power of collective intention.
